11. Pinterest API Integration

ur3rdcard integrates with the Pinterest API to automate pin creation and cross-post our tarot, zodiac, and spiritual content to Pinterest boards owned by authenticated users of our service. The following terms apply specifically to our use of the Pinterest API:

  • API usage. We use the Pinterest API to read user board information and to create, edit, and delete pins on behalf of users who have explicitly connected their Pinterest account to ur3rdcard through Pinterest's OAuth flow.
  • No affiliation or endorsement. ur3rdcard is an independent service operated by BS Marketing For You. ur3rdcard is not endorsed by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially connected to Pinterest, Inc. in any way. "Pinterest" is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.
  • Data handling on disconnect. When a user disconnects their Pinterest account from ur3rdcard — either through our settings page or by revoking access from Pinterest's own account settings — we immediately delete the associated Pinterest access token and refresh token from our systems. Any cached Pinterest board or profile metadata derived from the API is deleted within 30 days of disconnection. Pins that were already published to the user's Pinterest account remain on Pinterest and are under the user's control; we do not retain copies of those pins.
  • No resale or redistribution. We do not sell, lease, rent, trade, or otherwise redistribute Pinterest content, Pinterest-derived data, or any data obtained from the Pinterest API to any third party. Pinterest data is used solely to provide the pin-automation features described above within the ur3rdcard service.
  • Scope of access. We request only the minimum Pinterest API scopes necessary to perform the functions above (typically boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, and pins:write). Users can review and revoke these permissions at any time from their Pinterest account security settings.
